1. Infrastructure Resilience & Water Management
- Modernize drainage and stormwater systems to prevent flooding and prepare for hurricanes.
- Collaborate with environmental experts to safeguard canals and waterways, improving water quality and mitigating blue-green algae blooms.
- Investigation of the utilities expansion project (UEP) contract provisions, while insisting on new sources of funding and dramatically reduced hook-up fees.
2. Smart Growth & Affordable Housing
- Implement zoning reforms that encourage mixed-use, walkable communities and higher-density housing in key corridors.
- Launch an Affordable Housing Task Force to expand housing options for young families, teachers, first responders, and seniors.
3. Public Safety & Community Wellbeing
- Increase investment in first responder staffing and equipment, particularly for fire and emergency services in fast-growing areas.
- Create a Mental Health & Crisis Response Unit to better serve residents during non-violent emergencies.
4. Local Business Support & Economic Diversification
- Launch a “Cape Grows” Small Business Accelerator for local startups and eco-tourism ventures.
- Attract clean industries (e.g., green tech, marine tech) to diversify from construction-heavy reliance.
Future Goals (Next 5–10 Years)
1. Sustainability Leadership
- Incentives for solar energy and energy-efficient construction
- Create urban tree canopy and preserve native habitat.
- Balance ecological preservation with waterfront development.
2. Waterfront & Cultural Identity
- Transform the Bimini Basin and downtown Cape Coral into a vibrant cultural and waterfront district with dining, arts, public spaces, and water access.
- Host annual events like a Waterfront Innovation Festival to build civic pride and tourism.
3. Connectivity & Mobility
- Build out a comprehensive bike, pedestrian, and micro-transit network across the city.
- Integrate smart traffic systems to reduce congestion and improve flow along major corridors like Pine Island Road and Cape Coral Pkwy.
4. Youth Engagement & Workforce Development
- Partner with Lee County Schools and local colleges to create a “Future Coral Leaders” Program focusing on career pathways in trades, health care, and evolving industries.
- Expand public-private internship and apprenticeship programs.

If you are a registered voter in Cape Coral, you will see all three district races (1, 4, and 6) on your ballot. You can vote for one candidate in District 1, one in District 4, and one in District 6 — even if you don’t live in those districts.
